House — Author and Illustrator, these beloved stories first began as simple bedtime tales, shared with her children who would ask to hear them night after night. Their enthusiastic response, along with that of her nieces, nephews, and friends, sparked the dream to share these stories with families everywhere. In 2020, that dream became a reality!
Now, with grandchildren who adore these books just as much, Julie continues to be inspired, knowing that Furables quickly become favorites among little ones.
Julie is a pastor’s wife, mother of five, and proud grandma of three. With over 30 years of experience in children's ministry, she brings a heartfelt touch to every story she writes. Julie also loves writing children’s plays and songs, painting, and — most of all — spending time with her family. She and her husband, Pastor Ed House, live in the beautiful Door County, Wisconsin.
